As the temporary forum is history, I'd like to repeat my request for information on Tetraodon abei.
I'm especially interested in info on aggression level and the possibility of keeping several specimens together.
There was a member at the old pufferforum who posted several pictures of T. abei.
I've re-posted his pictures in the photo section.
If anyone remember the name or nick of that member, please contact me.
I believe he was living in Singapore...

Good rule of thumb for puffers is that they are a lone fish, a few can go with other puffers but most will try to kill anything else

I have to agree in regards to keeping Monotrete species together. I keep a few species together, but usually it's the smaller ones that seem to accept others. I would never keep two Abei's together though, don't think it would be a very good situation.
