Puffer and Trigger fish
I have a dogfaced puffer that is roughly about 6". He is incredibly friendly and not aggressive. I just bought a Picasso Trigger fish about 1/3 of his size and the trigger fish is picking on the puffer. Everytime the trigger comes near him, the puffer either rolls over on his side basically saying he isn't going to fight him or swims quickly to the other side of the tank to just avoid the trigger fish. I don't think the trigger could really hurt the Puffer due to the size difference but I am concerned because I don't want to stress out the puffer by leaving him in there for the long term if these 2 types of fish are known to not get along. Any advice?

Certain triggers are known to be extremely aggressive. Puffers don't stress well. Maybe try a more mild trigger species. How large is the tank?
