Lost a DP today :(

Post by J-P »

Today at feeding I found one of my DP's dead stuck between a breeder net and the glass. It must have been recent because my head count yesterday was 4 and this guy's eyes were still clear.

grrr.... and I was so proud that I had had them for this long :~~

yes... they are hard to find they are so tiny.

It looks like this 1 guy got caught behind the net trying to get at a snail. I have seen them do that before, but i have never seen them actually get wedged in there tight enough.

Guess you weren't listening during my mourning while in chat... siphon incident, wedging, hiding, disappearing...

I was .. I try to sponge everything....

this was such an unusual case. I have an HOB breeder net with some plants in it. There are some snails of course that came with the plants. My only assumption is that squirt stopped looking at the bottom and went for the side against the glass and got wedged in there.

It is my fault for not making the space.
