Re: MORE STRESS
Thinking of you and your family, I hope that the treatment goes smoothly and she has as speedy a recovery as possible
Re: MORE STRESS
What unpleasant news. Please take her to SickKids, it's a wonderful hospital. I was a patient there for years and still wish I could go back (my cousin was there for a long time after his accident and he's a functioning adult after being in a coma for 3 weeks). I miss my doctor so much and she is internationally known for knowledge and research etc. They know what to do there and they know how to take care of children. Maybe you can find a place to rent short term in an area outside of Toronto. Even Guelph is 2 hours closer.
Please let me know if I can help and I'm sending positive thoughts and vibes for your whole family.

Thanks Everyone,
We are not sure what they are doing yet, we are still waiting on the results of the last MRI and spinal tap, They are confering with sick kidsm to see what
type of treatment to do, We might need to move there for a small amount of time, but were not sure yet.
Thanks so much for all the thoughts and prayers,

Re: MORE STRESS
That's a wonderful thought JP but I'm pretty sure the bears, raccoons, and stray cats will eat more food than they can pay for
Not sure that would accomplish much

Re: MORE STRESS
Hey All,
Sorry I havn't been around for awhile, but as you can well imagine I have been busy, I spent a few months at sick kids in toronto with Sophia.
She is doing awesome the cancer is GONE!, we started chemo last week here in london, This is being done only as a preventive, I have no prob saying "PRAISE GOD" my daughter is cured!.
I would like to take a line here and thank you all for your prayers and good thoughts, they made a world of difference. the chemo is for 6 months only, so 5 more treatments to go
Thanks JP for the BQ you held, the donation you sent came in very handy.
As of right now I have my 90 Gal half full of water, and we have a few fish in it for sophia, we plan on buying a 55 gal to move them over to, and I plan on getting another puffer of some kind.
Something else that I have choosen to do, I noticed through out this journey is the total lack of support for MEN, in the area of cancer and most life issues, So I have made and brought online a support forum for MEN, i will not post the link as I do not have permission yet. Women are welcome as well, i have a thread called sophia's journey, this is where my wife posts updates and we have a bunch of women who have joined just to be able to see the updates
if anyone would like the site addy please feel free to PM me for it
Thanks again all for everything, We are so happy and blessed that sophia is CURED!!! I love typing or saying that

Re: MORE STRESS
Hi Don,
Just finding this thread, actually, but I'm so happy to read your last post after holding my breath thru 4 pages. As a cancer survivor, I know there is NO better news than this and even more so for your child. God is good!

I'm glad to hear that she's doing better. I can't imagine the relief and joy that you and your family must be feeling right now.
