nice! i love when i am lifting up a rock during a water change to stir my sand and see all the little critters scatter to stay under something and seeing bristle worms. makes you realize how different it is and its so much more of an ecosystem inside a tank it seems

So today I learned my scar has healed funny.. I KNEW it wasn't right.. I could feel it.
You know how usually you can pinch your skin up away from muscle/bone whatever is under it.
well I cant move my scar it pulls on my stomach, it's attatched to whatever is underneith it and it shouldnt be.. so over and under the scar is sticking out, its stuck inwards.
I was suppose to have physio and learn some massage thing to stop it happening but hospital didn't care and never sent me.. they didn't even give me a check up or tell me my results and it's been about 5 or 6 weeks.
So now I'm going to probably have some stupid dent in my stomach forever.. imagine if I gain weight, it's going to be like this > from the side, great!
Im going to the doctor this week.. lets hope its not too late to get it unstuck. I've been rubbing it lots today trying to unstick it lol.

Hope this is just a minor short setback that will be over soon.

I worked 8-430 and then went out for a ride in a friends jeep, which was a bad idea now cause i really really want one again.

Brought my Marine tank up to 1.024 so I can get my LR in it. I went away for a few days and the water level dropped quite a bit from evaporation, my sister just added FW in to the sump, dropped the SG down to 1.020 and killed my sump from the sharp drop. Thank God my LR was in a different tank that's 1.024.....

I took a look at the DP tank today after adding some plants and all 4 were clustered in a group sleeping. It was so cute! I went to get my wife and mother and they were gone!! All of them hiding or hunting somewhere.

My mother was "awww aren't they so cute!!" I said " Mom, that's a shrimp" and "Mom, that's a snail". She had a hell of a time finding a single puffer in the tank without a magnifying glass. haha :D

I think I climbed up more stairs than I have ever in my life but the rides down on the water slides were well worth it--what a blast! Wet & Wild water park in Orlando is the bomb! No really, there's a slide called The Bomb that is 6 stories high. You get into a small capsule, standing up & all of a sudden the bottom drops out & you slide all 6 stories straight down!

I am so jealous PP..

My thing for today..

Final team projects are due today in class...this is for an elective class in a BA program..

We had to write two versions of the same event..a non-fiction newspaper style report and a fictional story..

The chick that wanted to do the fictional story waited until we had about 5 hours to turn it in..which means my powerpoint was also last minute..

But, she turns in a bunch of garbage that scored a 4 on the Flesch grade level scale (equivalent to what a 4th grader would do)

Not only that..when we asked WT%...this was her statement to us..

"I forget which is which I thought I was non-fiction and so and so was fiction. Fiction is more factual right?"

Lord, please don't let this person breed!

Well, I'm back from a week in California so I'm catching up!
Finally I realized that as I walked the heaters to their tanks...and turned them on..and tried them out..and pulled my hair out...that I had not been plugging them in  It took me about 20 minutes to figure it out.
That totally sounds like something I would do

On a very much sadder note, I came home to my older Golden in renal failure. My DH didn't bother to get her to the vet even though she was getting sicker by the day. And truth is, she was 14 and it was likely too far gone even 5 or 6 days ago...but still :( We had to put her down yesterday and it was just about the worst day of my life. We were so close.
