F8 wont eat snails

I must have the only puffer in the world that wont eat snails. I've tried and tried and even made my quarantine tank brackish to put him in as it was overrun with snails and he didn't touch them. I have now had to trim his teeth twice which I hate doing. What other food can I try him with to get him to wear his teeth down?

Crab legs...Use a hammer to break up the shell a good bit.

if you stop feeding your puffer for a few days and then offer him a few crushed up snails....I'm pretty sure he will start eating them eventually.
The puffer will not starve to death,...he will eat the snails once he learns they are food.

After a few times feeding crushed snails he should start going after the whole ones himself.

Make sure you are feeding snails that are the appropriate size too. They should be no larger than your puffers eyeball.
