Figure 8 transation

Post by Aquarist »

I am proud to announce that I have moved my figure 8 into his new 55 gallon tank all to himself. He has caves. Plants to hide behind. The temperature is about 78 and I am pumping 420 GPH filtration "300 GPH aquaclear 120 GPH aquatech" He has alot of big juicy snails to eat at the bottom once he goes down there. Right now he is pacing the glass. Only have one side of the tank lighted right now as I don't have enough room to plug the other light in. Accimlation time was shorter then I wanted it to be because I put him in a container with a hood. Left him in it and every once and a while added more water. Yet he managed to get the lid off and escape the small container and swim freely in the tank after a little less then 15 minutes. as I type this he is on the lighted side of the tank pacing. Will give updates daily (: Cheers.

Edit: Just gave him a piece of Krill. First meal in new tank and he ate it all (:

As long as u transferred the filter and water from the old tank he should be fine.

Good decision....I'm sure he'll appreciate it.

Have been having some issues with the forum. I have pictures as well but im havin difficulty uploading them, anywho. Quick video in which you can see the f8 and some of the decor. He is adjusting quite well and everything is looking good. I obviously need more cover but for now he's doing OK.

Btw. The forum is very slow and everytime I click a page it tells me that the maximum processes are reached and that I must wait 10 second's. It's getting quite irritating and if anyone could help me fix that too I would appreciate it.
