Arizona Aquatic Gardens?

Post by side19 »

i've been looking around for a panda garra for a long time now and this is the only place i can find them. its $45 shipping for an order $35 to $99. i'm thinking of ordering one along with some other things to get the price up to the minimum. has anyone gone through them or know anything about them? they have DOA protection and it seems like a very well run place. should i give this place a shot?

I have never ordered fish or aquatic plants from them, but have gotten tropical banana plants and other such tropical plants from them which were satisfactory.

I have heard some negatives on the packing of their aquatic plants on other forums, but have no personal experience there.

I placed one order with them for plants, shrimp, snails and some otocinclus (their Algae Squad they call it). Two of the 4 were DOA and I called them. So I supposedly have credit for 2 otos, but they charged me as much for shipping as the rest of my order (over $65 IIRC) and frankly, until I need some nice new plants that can be shipped over 2 days for less money, I may never recoup my credit with them. Not with 6 or more LFS in town selling otos.

Your situation might be different. Plants were lovely, and most of the nerites have thrived as well as several of the shrimp, I must tell you that.
