So What's One More Miurus Puffer?

Actually last time he caught me in the act of feeding the puffer, so he really didn't discover it on his own.
This time I'm going to be careful and see how long it takes him to see the new arrival, of course, it's so small, it will be hard to see.

Here's my little sweetheart. He or she, is the spitting image of Orangetta. It's like Dr Evil and Mini-Me.

(I will refer to him as a he for now until I can do some research, as I'm sure I've got both a male and a female already with Orangetta and Biscuit).

I am very happy to say that he's acclimated really well. I didn't expect him to eat anything last night, but I offered him 2 very thin earthworms and he snapped them right up. Then this morning I seen him stalking the guppy fry that are in that tank. So I don't think I'm going to have any problems with him eating like the others were.

The husband seen the new addition and I tried my best to convince him that Orangetta had given birth. I tried explaining that some puffers have live births and he almost believed me.
He still wants to know where it came from and all I'm saying is that it's Orangetta's "baby".

The new little one is doing really well. Not gotten him to eat dead foods, but he will eat earthworms (and if they are too long, he just bites them in two) and he's been eating the tiny guppy fry that I put in there for him. I'm quite happy because both of my current Congo puffers were buggers to get to eat.

Now, just need a name for him.

I have not been into puffers a long time, but I keep up with what puffers are being offered for sale (I am always looking for a silus)

I think the time/season for congos in the US is spring..around March/April

By the time the man reaches his destination, the puffer and he are one and he cannot give the puffer up for payment.. Creating what some people would call irony (but it is actually coincidence)

Man comes back with DP in hand, wife is happy both are back, they hug and meet each other half way in a meadow full of flowers (even though when the man left it was winter)

Never tried it with a lurker puffer though - just a pair of eyes buried in the sand
