thanks trek I will have to get a kit to test the nitrate as well. Im going to keep doing 50% wc every other day for the next week.

With ammonia a little bit high I would be doing 50% daily. Ammonia really can be very hard on your Puffer.

You should be testing twice a day. Anything other than a bright yellow color (zero reading) means water change.
