Your little Snips looks alot like my Blip (also Ceylon). They are lovely puffers, aren't they? I just recently moved my 3 Ceylons to a bigger tank and since I did, they all have white bellies most of the time (before 2 of them mostly had dark bellies).

oh that makes the dark belly mystery even more interesting! Did you do anything completely different with the deco of the new tank that made them always have a white belly? Or could it be the space...

Personally I think it's the space because my biggest Ceylon, Yorkie, he rarely had a white belly before, but since the move, where he's got lots of swimming space, he seems to have a white belly most of the time now. In fact, they all have nice white bellies most of the time, although there are still times when some bellies are darkish, but it's not often -- which makes me happy!

Snips made the move from heavy brackish to marine a month ago. Now swimming around his little reef (that is under construction) all happy.

Well, he's certainly turned out well, hasn't he. How big is he nowadays? I've always liked Ceylon's... wish I could find one so I can talk my fiance into getting one.

Isn't that cool? Mine did too, once he was in SW.
