Found Red Worm's in Tank

As my bf was doing a water change on the 120g and sifting through the sand he noticed a red worm, which then caused him to look for more, we found about a dozen. Haven't fed blackworm or bloodworm in that tank for quite some time. I've tried looking it up online and haven't found too much other than camallanus worms, but haven't seen any on or near Nala just in the gravel... here's a pic any ideas whether or not it is harmful?

IDK, those look bigger than the ones I have seen around the gills of fish..

I think it may be a blackworm... maybe just growing or dying I really don't know!!
but we did see a decent sized blackworm on a rock after the water change, crazy how long it's been in there, since haven't fed black worm for quite a few months.
i suppose it found a nice home in the sand

Am I the worm guy now ?? haha that is ok... other than camallanus worms I don't really have much of an idea.

camallanus worms are a round worm with a barbed head, which this doesn't appear to have and seem like a flat worm, but that could just be the angle of the photo.

A couple Qs:
1) What are those red granules above the worm? Is that the substrate? Similar to Baloo's?
2) Have you fed any earthworms recently? There is a "red worm" that is related to the earth worm what is used in composting and I wonder if it could be a hitchhiker.. but because it is an aquarium, I highly doubt it. Unless you recently added some new plants.

The only other thing I can think of is planaria that took on the color of the substrate, because of the dye leaching into the food there.
