Slime around mouth

Hello,
I don't know if I have a problem or not?
I have had my puffer for 5 days, day 1 was him settling in glass surfing and trying to bite his way out, day 2 this decreased and started looking for attention, day 3 fed him ate his food like never been fed more interaction, day 4 loads of interaction looks for us and gets excited, day 5 evening the same as day 4 but noticed some bubbles around his mouth closer inspection seems like slime/mucus clear in colour, nothing around the gills or anywhere else! Has a good appetite
Is this normal or do I have a potential problem or being a worry head?
I am going to keep a close eye on him over the next few days.

What are the tank details? (Tank size, water readings, tankmates, what type of puffer?).

I have a trigon 350, ph 8.0, amonnia nil, nitrite nil, nitrate 25mg/ml water change due tomorrow!
Tank mates chromis no problems with him
Puffer is a dog faced puffer

I think I have figured it out! I have done some research they apparently can have clear slime around their mouth, what he is doing is swimming through the waterfall inlet tube which produces small bubbles ( which he seems to have an obsession with) the little bubbles are sticking to the slime which you wouldn't normally see around his mouth. Going to keep an eye on him anyhow and do more checks on the tank to doubley make sure.

it is possible.

I gave seen a vid of a GSP with a thick slime coat that sand stuck to.. people watching the vid thought the skin was peeling and / or the worst case of ICH they have ever seen

Yes "MARLEY" is all good he just loves swimming in bubbles which stick to him! I know i think i panicked a bit........
