Snail tank

Post by MrCodexx »

I have had my snail tank up and running for about a week now. they are temporarily in a .5 gallon old betta keeper. I have a DIY sponge filter set up with a Penn Plax B11 silent air pump, and a marina C10 heater that is automatically set to 78 degrees. I have no subtrate in the tank and I have been feeding zuchini. How often should i be doing water changes and is the zucchini enough for their food or should i be doing fish flakes or something.

regular water changes are good to keep the nutrients in the water.

I'd mix up the food a little, flake is good in small amounts so is spinach and cucumber :)
if you follow me, you avoid stepping in the crap that I just did...
