Yes scary I know..

But it is 100 times better than regular biscuit mix, especially with the buttermilk added..

Puts Bisquick to shame.

I only found out about after using it to make biscuits at a small diner..

If mom is not around, this product is awesome!

I meant a mix of any kind, period. All from scratch. No measurements of any kind and it doesn't matter how many you need just say it and that's exactly how many it will be. Kind of impressive to watch. If I was ever to suggest a mix that 71 year old, 4'-10", 105# woman would be chasing me out of the kitchen swinging a wooden spoon.

jmiller, that kind of 'from scratch' recipe reminds me of the little old lady in Italy that would make the most fabulous gnocchi. Little heaven-sent pillows from heaven that melt in your mouth - never measured, but would come out perfect no matter what flavor you requested, and never made too much or too little, no matter how many people she was feeding. It was truely amazing, I wish I could have brought her home with me! (I can't make it to save my life - that is without cheating and using eggs! Even then it turns out a bit too heavy, or falls apart!)

"I will give you a talisman. Whenever you are in doubt, or when the self becomes too much with you, apply the following test. Recall the face of the poorest and the weakest man whom you may have seen, and ask yourself, if the step you contemplate is going to be of any use to him or her. Will she gain anything by it? Will it restore her to a control over her own life and destiny? In other words, will it lead to freedom for the hungry and spiritually starving millions? Then you will find your doubts and your self melt away."

Well that sure brings to light a new hobby.

Cat licking! :ROFL2: Yum....
It is absurd to talk of one animal being higher than another. We consider those, when the cerebral structure/intellectual faculties most developed, as highest. A bee doubtless would when the instincts were.

I Love Scones, biscuits I guess are more or less the same thing, super easy to make, just need alot of butter. I agree with JMiller-gotta be from scratch! Think I will make some for dinner tonight ;)
