mine is an Aqueon Circulation Pump - 1250
and it is a BEAST! if not angled properly it shoots everything across the tank.

Yours should do the job ... just be careful of the placement and don't point it towards the sand ;)
if you follow me, you avoid stepping in the crap that I just did...

30" tanks are a pain in the a** in that they limit your brand choices for lights, since not all companies make that size. My friend with a 30" got a nice Aquatic Life fixture...

I have 2 koralia knock off 790's only 20bucks for both on ebay and they are beast. I can only run one at a time and i have had to shave down the empellor a little to soften the flow. Its a gentle flow even b4 shaveing just to much for my 36" long tank. For lights i have a 36" Current USA double PC 1-96w 10k and 1-96w 50/50 blue actinic/fiji purple. The fiji brings out the neon pink in my shrooms like crazy. You could probably get away with a 24"fixture if you can find a way to mount it on your tank.

Got my evo 750 from Amazon for $23. Had ordered a discontinued 600 model and they must not have had it so they filled the order with the new 750 instead. Love it. :D

Koralia are defiantly the way to go and two pump are preferred to prevent dead spots. First get a Koralia Nano 425gph and then deiced on what to get next for the other side, a koralia 750 might be too much for one corner.

For a 30" tank a single metal halide pendant is going to be the best if you plan on keeping corals, you wont have to upgrade as you get into harder to keep corals.
