1 to 1 1/2 " GSP

Post by FernandoMagallanes »

New to the forums!
I have two GSPs, one is about 1/2 an inch smaller than the other but they seem to get along. In the store (In Flushing, NY) they seemed to get along, thus I chose them.
Should I start feeding them with snails or any other "hard sell" food? Right now they are eating frozen bloodworms, but I see small teeth growing...

Thanks!

Welcome to the forums!

you can start them on snails and other shell fish. When I had mine whey were only about 1" long and they LOVED their shrimp. For snails try to keep it about the size of their eye.

Thank you both...

I see the bigger one eating more than the little one... If I throw in a couple of snails, will they be devoured by the bigger one?

Stupid question, but I might as well ask...

try it ;) You'll have to experiment a little with feeding locations and times.
