A friend dropped off 70lbs of really cool LR this week. I only had to trade him a handful of frags for it (gotta love friends like that!). Perfect-sized large pieces of rock for the base, flat rocks for shelves/caves & lots of other in-between rocks. Got the tank going today. (Killed my back for it though...) I think I have a real talent for decorating, if I must say so. It's still a bit cloudy. I put a heater in there, to keep it at the same temp she's at now (she's in the sump of my reef tank) & I'll remove it after she's in there, so I don't have to acclimate her to 10 degrees cooler water. I'm dying to put the puffer in there right now! I know I need to wait a couple days though. :( Chopstick is really gonna love her new tank!

I'm getting new bulbs for my reef tank, so I'm really excited about that too.

Well, I just got her tank together & she's been living in my fuge. Hard to get pics of her in there.

Every time I look in there, she's buried somewhere else. Hubby thinks it's a wasted tank, since he never sees anything swimming. Definitely a good time for RTR's sig, "Where's the fish?"

Welcome to the club, PP! It is hardly rare for puffs to bury themselves. Fahakas are notorious for it, but most of them outgrow it.

I never caught any of the ones I had buried - they were mostly hyperactive critters for me.

Darn! We woke up this morning to the smell of something burning. It was the skimmer pump. I have no $$$ for another one. I do have a bunch of extra powerheads & see a lot of folks using them for a Backpac skimmer.
