New tank help

Hey guys i have a porcupine puffer thats being kept in a tank of about 70l so not very big but plently of live rock, however the puffer is just under 2 inches big at this point in time so im sure he is okay for now. While he is in here i am preparing a Much larger tank for him that holds approx 600+ litres, however with my current 70l set up i just have filter, heater, small protein skimmer, and one power head to keep a ripple in the surface water to stop gunk building up and floating on the top.

My Question is in a 600+ litre tank what sortve equipment am i going to need to invest in with the puffer in mind, ive never had a tank this big and im only getting it ready and set up for this porcy puffer and at absoloute most a few other small fish that i will maybe add if they apear to do well with the puffer.

Will i need wave maker's, powerheads etc as when i see larger display tanks they have huge amounts of these in use and i dont know too much about them.
and if so how many should i be looking to get and how do i set em up.
Another thing is what sortve HOB protein skimmer can i rely on for this size of tank and puffer's.

luckily i have the smaller tank set up for him while he grows as the larger tank seems a completly different ball game and im finding it hard and expensive to get a puffer specific list of equipment together for this size of tank.

The tanks dimensions are roughly 6 x 2 x 2 ft however it is a bowfront so gets wider than 2ft at the front.

I know this seems like alot of info to ask but if i see what you guys are running in your larger puffer tanks i know i'll be doing the puffer alot more good than going by normal fish tanks or any information given to me by a lfs.

I have no idea what you will need for saltwater. But when people here give you some advice....please look in the DIY-Do it your self forum here and on ebay to cut some costs!

I am not a marine keeper, well not yet, but one thing I do know is that for a Porc you are going to need a Fish Only with Live Rock setup and a decent skimmer, Its not going to be cheap, your tank is roughly 180 US gallons so you're gonna need to start getting some live rock and setting that tank up. Probably the sooner the better. Once you have that tank setup and stable its probably best to move the Porc into it and keep on adding the live rock until you reach the desired amount of rock per gallon.

The marine keepers will be able to explain it better than I did.
