Talk About a Nice Tank

Post by pufferpuggirl »

I've just been perusing the classifieds and I came across a tank that I would love to have.

The tank is 8-feet long by 4-feet wide by 2.5-feet high -- 600 gallons
Asking price is 999 GBP, and another 299 for the stand
Besides the price being out of my range, it's also down in London. Just the transportation costs on that would be enormous, but my oh my, that would be one nice tank! :D

It's on Aquarist-Classifieds
There's 2 adverts on there, I don't know if they manufacture aquariums, although that's what it sounds like, based in London.
Hang on, let me see if I can find it ....

Almost sounds too good to be true at that price.

They'd have to assemble a tank that wide inside my house, otherwise it would never get inside. I think 31" is the max coming through my door. :(

Thru the window suzanne

I think my 5ft tank will do me, a 6ft maybe if needed in future.
Imagine water changes on a 8ft?
I need a ladder lmao!!

You'd have to literally remove my window for a tank that size, and even then I'm not entirely sure it would still fit through.
But I believe they do offer assembly inside your house, which probably is another bit of cash to be spent.
I'd love to have the space to put my Mbu into something like that though. He'd be in heaven. :D
