Frankly, not having a gas pedal is scary. I can put the pedal right to the floor and nothing happens, lotsa fun when trying to merge onto a highway with trucks or rude drivers. I wouldn't hesitate to get behind the wheel of a vehicle with an engine.
On the plus side, my car costs about $30Cdn to go a good 600kms and gas is more expensive here than in the US.
LOL! I stand correted then LOL! And I know what you mean, I drive a caravan, and its so gutless I hate it with a passion.

Uh, gee, no wonder. Speed much? I think you could watch any vehicle's gas drop at speeds like that. Think of how much money you'd save if you stayed around 110kms/hr. Even more if you obeyed speed limits.
I never go more than 10 over and I compare the mileage of that to when I follow the speed limit, huge difference. A good 60-70kms a tank. When Kyle obeys the speed limit he gets over 100kms more per tank.
It is absurd to talk of one animal being higher than another. We consider those, when the cerebral structure/intellectual faculties most developed, as highest. A bee doubtless would when the instincts were.

Wanna hear something funny?, My 5.0L mustang with 300HP, gets better gas mileage then my 07 3.3L V6 caravan LOL!
Sweet! Im more into the 4x4s, I cant believe how crappy my mileage got and acceleration when I lifted only 2" and got 31.5" off road tires... 99 Jeep grand cherokee V8.

My wife would agree with you on that, she hates my mustang with a passion that burns with the intensity of a 1000 suns becuase it seems like everyone one I buy turns out to be a money pit, she's sick of losing money on them.... and so am i.
But this car i will keep and enjoy for a long time
