Well, as we all know, no two puffers are exactly alike and it sounds to me that you've just got yourself a biter.

Snails never hit the bottom before they are completely in his belly. He doesnt just suck them out. He eats snail and shell whole. Hes a very aggressive lil guy!pufferpuggirl wrote:Well, as we all know, no two puffers are exactly alike and it sounds to me that you've just got yourself a biter.

It sounds like it. Obie, my Fahaka, is sort of like that, only Obie won't bite me, or hasn't yet anyway, but he's very aggressive when it comes to food. You'd think he never gets fed by the way he behaves.

Our wee little F8 bites fingers. She bites the water siphon too. She's a very bold little girl.
It is absurd to talk of one animal being higher than another. We consider those, when the cerebral structure/intellectual faculties most developed, as highest. A bee doubtless would when the instincts were.

Only puffer owners find great fun in being bitten by a predator.

Very true Troender!
Georgie is a very aggressive little guy, I am def going to have to watch my fingers in the tank! He's still smaller than my thumb but attacks the syphon and anything else silly enough to go into the tank.

Re: My GSP biting me :D
i've been bitten by my gsp and my abei all within 2 days of each other, with mine it's only if your fingers are just dangling in the water, if i put my hand fully in they just swim off

it's so true though. lol. Ra (my F8) used to nip my finger when i just dangled it in the tank, but now he only goes after my girlfriend's nails if she happens to be leaning the tank for me.Flutter wrote:Troender wrote:Only puffer owners find great fun in being bitten by a predator.

Bloat attacked me for the first time yesterday when I was putting a clam in his tank
