F8 Puffer in A biocube?

Post by inlovewithdps »

Can I house only one figure 8 puffer in an 8 gallon biocube? It is only going to be the only fish in there.

Nope, you need 2 or 3 times that capacity for an F8. I have mine in a 29g and I feel that is barely enough. You could get a dwarf puffer in there though.

To me small tanks are like a small jail cell for someone that committed no crime. And they usually end in the death penalty.

I wouldn't want to live like this.

Besides, how can you resist this...

Do you already have the 8 gallon? If not and you have the space why not go bigger.

Min, 15g for a single F8.
