They are neat aren't they!
We've decided that the 2 angels will go to my tank at my mom's house. We don't want to part with them and aren't willing to let them risk going to a bad home. We are also going out sell our tetras. We'll see how things go with the guppies and hopefully they aren't eaten. If they are we'll rehome them too. The cories and plecos will be fine.

It is absurd to talk of one animal being higher than another. We consider those, when the cerebral structure/intellectual faculties most developed, as highest. A bee doubtless would when the instincts were.

Alright, so there's been many changes. The tank was upgraded to a 65gal. We ended up selling the tetras and guppies. The angels moved to their new home and are continuing to spawn every week or so 
Tank inhabitants are now:
-2 discus
-11 cories
-7 bristlenoses
-5 nerite snails?
-assorted ramshorn snails
-1 peacock gudgeon
The gudgeon was supposed to stay with the angels however they were starving him. The discus are settling in well. We tried to do a forced pairing and it seems to have worked. We're going to stick with this pair only at least until school is done. We did the rescape that I had mentioned in another thread and things are growing in. The melon sword is definitely doing the best. We removed the Madagascar lace and we're thinking about removing the tiger lotus, it just isn't doing well. The crinium plant I said we had was actually a type of aponogeton and it's doing really well. Water changes are now about 50% every week.
Once I can find some marbled crays all of the cherry shrimp from the 10gal will go into this tank and the crays can have the other tank. I've added ramshorns in hope that they'll breed in there too. We just can't seem to grow enough to feed the puffers. The BN's are large enough that I think it's time to look at selling them. Not sure if we'll ever be able to catch them though
