Name needed!

Post by CarmenH »

I have a confession to make. My not-so-new-anymore F8 doesn't have a name. I've been waiting for one to come to me, like it usually does, and nothing has. I toyed with a Gilligan's Island name (to go with the theme tank); he was even "Skipper" briefly, but I hate it and it doesn't suit him and I would hate it even more if I decided to switch up the tank down the line! So I am humbly accepting ideas :-)

I'm horrible at names but good luck. We've had our betta for months and he's still nameless. Maybe I'll make a post about that, just need pictures...
It is absurd to talk of one animal being higher than another. We consider those, when the cerebral structure/intellectual faculties most developed, as highest. A bee doubtless would when the instincts were.

'Gizmo' ?

I don't know, just because :)

F8's whirl and zoom around like those little clockwork dolphin or shark wind up toys you'd put in the bath - a Gizmo or device?

:)

Why not?

If the name fits the animal for you - I'm sure it's perfectly brilliant for us lot :D

'Jet' = silent propulsion...

but in random directions :lol:

As they do 8)

as in "little guy" in Japanese? haha
that is cute :)

Maybe "Dot"
Or following the Japanese theme: "Midori" (green but also a girls name), "peko-peko" (I'm hungry in children's speak), "Peko-chan" (hungry kid <== that one is cute too), "Maru" (round), or if you REALLY want to get witty and cross language boarders: "chi-fu" = chibi (little guy: Japanese) + sifu (teacher: Chinese) + the pronunciation of chief (boss). Considering they are from south-east Asia, those names may not be 100% appropriate :)
