Burning is good- it means it's killing off those germs lol. Maybe I'm weird, but I kind of like the burn... kind of... cuz I know it's working. I also like the fizz that peroxide produces. XD

I don't believe you can buy hydrogen peroxide over here, which is silly, as I always liked soaking my earrings in it.

And yeah, I liked the fizz too!

Antibacterials shouldn't always burn. The good stuff shouldn't hurt at all (cleaners and creams).

When I was little I always got to clean around the incision after surgery. Cleaning up all that blood with peroxide was SO much fun

Available at chemists, 200ml 3% solution is less than a pound.

Hey thanks Bosshogg, my husband (who is English) told me that you can't buy it over here .... so I'm glad to hear that you can get it.

Yeah it's just like faded scratches now ..... but now I'm thinking, if Obie can get to that size when he inflates, imagine how HUGE BeeBoo could get if he chose to inflate! :scared:

puffer fish have poison. Their livers produce a film that coats their bodys. if youve ever touched your puff without spikes you might of noticed your skin tingling. that is the poison. When the spines break your skin, even the slightest, that poison gets in there and creates rashes and blisters. Its their secondary defence.

That certainly explains what I was feeling after I was scratched by Obie's spikes. I just never realised they had that ability.
