I acquired 3 new F8's (they will be an eventual addition to the 3 I already have). They are going into a hospital tank... but need to know the sequence of medicating...
Treat with PolyGuard, then Praziquantel, vice versa or both at the same time?

- My Puffers: I am my own puffer. I do not possess a "name" in any sense a person would find comprehensible. My identity to another of my kind is not even individual as you understand it; in the semiotics of puffer fish interaction, indices are the only connection between the signifier and the signified - how does a consciousness working as described have a place for a name? I am identified by my bulk, territory, hormone releases (including for breeding), as well as my current body language.
- Location (country): I prefer not to be too specific on such a detail. A puffer must be careful.

My cousins would not appreciate the use of PolyGuard. Many of its contents are hard on our pristine, scaleless bodies, and its use is likely fully superfluous in any case.
Praziquantel would be helpful if they show signs of tapeworm or other flatworm infestation. Unless these new puffers appear very gaunt, it would perhaps be best to monitor them for a few days before treating for a specific type of parasites.
Many treat routinely for internal infestations whenever adding new new puffers to an existent population, if that is your intention, something more broad spectrum than pure praziquantel would be the order of the day. Whether to use a blended medication, such as the fizzing tables offered by Jungle Laboratories, or simply a medication with a wider spectrum of effectiveness, such as the Flubendazole based wormer plus offered by Kusari is a matter of preference and availability.
