Skimmer question

Post by LD50 »

I just set up my tank for FOWLR (future puffer home) and today I fired up my new HOB reef octopus skimmer. It seems to be working quite well, but it is blowing a lot of micro bubbles into the tank. They are not nearly as bad as when I first started it up so I'm wondering if this is just part of "breaking in" a new skimmer?

There is a breaking in period for skimmers.
