more tank questions
Ok I have found 2 tanks, one is a 120 gallon acrilic but its tank only and is scratched up alot. Nothing severe and all will come out with some compound(which it comes with) and some elbow grease the guy is asking 100 bucks. The other tank is a 100 gallon but I am told measures 51 long 22 deep and width, kinda odd measurements. This one is glass and iirc comes with a stand and this one the guy is asking 120.
If the measurements are right on the 100 gallon tank, is that foot print good enough? Seems like a better deal since it comes with the stand too

Re: more tank questions
I'd go for the 100 gal, good deal! I wish I could get a deal like that. But then that could just be my acrylic prejudice talking

120 48x24x24 1152sq inches 119usg
100+ 51x22x22 1122sq inches 109usg
I think I would pick the best deal

Re: more tank questions
You're probably torn because of the 120G rule,
I'd go for the 100G and feel better about the deal and not worry much about the 2"width difference.
The dimensions are good enough.
..'cause if you think about it, a lot of people have fahakas in 125G, and I believe the width of the tank is 18" 1/2.

Re: more tank questions
I don't like acrylic tanks, so I'd go for the glass if it were me.

I don't know if you're familiar with how small some English cars can be ... but you'd be amazed how many times we've managed to move a huge tank in a small car!

Re: more tank questions
I would be worried about your fahaka further scraching the acrylic when he gets excited and rubs his beak against it.
