That's what I was thinking but the post is very vague.

Sorry, I guess this isn't the place for politics and controversy, the way this is being handled bothers me and I posted

Its an argument about the war in afghan, 'rules of engagement', accusations of 'murder', inconsistencies, people accusing with out knowing the full story, twisting of the truth, and other controversy. Make up your own mind, to sum it up, fierce fire fight, aggressors leaving the scene armed with AKs and RPGs are fired upon from an apache helicopter and civilian casualties are incurred.

I can tell you from first had experiance, that when civilians are hurt or killed dureing operations there is nothing but grief from our side. It is not our intentions to kill innocent people but that does happen sometimes and its sad but in war we try our best to minimize it. To punish or ridicule soldiers that unintentionaly kill civilians is rediculus. Its not there fault, they were just doing there job the best they can, but sometimes its unavoidable.

Thanks!

I haven't but, have friends and family that did. Its stuff like this wikileaks guy that really irk me. There are ligament times to criticize the policy, but people who are correctly doing their duty should not be the target. War sucks and the world would be best with out it, but the situation remains.

People who have never served and have never been face to face with combat should have no say what so ever about it. If they think its easy to go over there and be shot at day in and day out, to have morters thrown on your base while your trying to get some rest b4 you have to go outside the wire again, then they should be drafted and forced to serve as an infantry man. I have no tollerance for people that talk about combat and critisize soldiers for doing there duties. Politics is what makes it harder for us when were over there to do what we need to do so we can all come home and end the war. Of course i dont have a doubt about some sort of occupation to some dagree happening but if it wasnt for politics we would already be on that stage (trust me on that, forget what you have herd in the media)
