Believing in something doesn't make someone uneducated. Especially not if they've seen things for themselves, I agree you can't believe everything you read or are told but that's the same with anything.. when I was little me and my gran and grandad went and stayed in spain and after our electricity going for about a week and the guys who came to fix it everyday saying it was fine my gran saw a floating baby come through the window one night, she woke me up to show me to because it wasn't a scary ghost but being young I sat up freaking out and it disapeared, but I remember seeing it a bit. Then the next day she told someone local about it and they said it was common and that some hospital has burned down years ago (or something) and loads of people saw ghosts .. apparently if you saw an old ghost that was bad but seeing a baby was good and he just wanted to be my friend? weird..anyway whether you believe me or not has nothing to do with an education level.

I don't get the education / believing link either. Certainly came across as rude (hopefully there was a different intention?).

No one should ever attack, belittle, degrade, etc. anyone because of their beliefs. Even if you don't agree and think it's bogus. It's their belief, it means something to them and is important to them and who they are as a person. As long as they are not hurting anyone or anything, one's beliefs should never be treated negatively.

Regardless, some of the smartest people I know are considered "uneducated" or "only" have a college diploma. Intelligence and education do not necessarily go hand in hand ;)
It is absurd to talk of one animal being higher than another. We consider those, when the cerebral structure/intellectual faculties most developed, as highest. A bee doubtless would when the instincts were.

Yes, let's stop the personal attacks.

That being said, I am not convinced either. I don't see a face, just a little light reflecting off the poster. It looks very normal to me. I also don't see where a ghost comes into the story... Who is the ghost, and what does it have to do with the divorce and business trips?

Recall the face of the poorest and the weakest man whom you may have seen, and ask yourself, if the step you contemplate is going to be of any use to him or her. Will she gain anything by it? Will it restore her to a control over her own life and destiny? In other words, will it lead to freedom for the hungry and spiritually starving millions? Then you will find your doubts and your self melt away."

The belief of the subjects involved was that the "other woman" was haunting her thoughts and this in turn manifested itself in the picture shown. There are NOT my beliefs.. that is what the consensus was after developing the picture and discussing it. Japanese people are firm ghost believers and lots of things spook them out easily.

*scratches head*

Why would the other woman haunt her? Did she die?

About 6 years ago I went to alabama with my exwife to see some of her family. We meet up with a family friend for dinner, someone I had never met in my life. He was showing us around this "haunted" building, tellin us that sometimes you see shadows in this room or you stand in this door way and can feel someone pushing or pulling you around. I didnt really believe any of it, till we both stepped into a hallway and at the exact same time, we both felt the coldest chill go through our bodies. Felt like someone/something went right through me. Scared the crap out of me, everyone said that both our faces when completely white at the same exact time. To say the least we high tailed it out of that place.

I highly suggest watching the Steven Hawkings shows on the science channel. I beleive they are called Into The Universe. In all honosty I do beleive with out a doubt that there is life out there and even inteligent life. When it comes to them comeing here to just check us out its seems highly unlikely. For one, the ammount of resources it would take to travel that far just to snap some photoes or take some samples would not be worth the rewards. If they do send something to scope us out it would have to be unmanned space probes that would more then likely never enter out atmosphere. The time it would take to travel even at the speed of light from that far would be more then double our lifetime. In one of his shows he states how we would survive as a species, and in it explains that to get to the closest known similar planet to earth; it would take something like 80 or so years traveling at the speed of light.

If we were ever actually confronted by extra terrestrials it would be under either of 2 circumstances: one being they have used all of there natural resources and we are the next planet of there resupply list, or they are actually somewhat like we are and are wanting to share intelligence and be friendly (which would probably be the least likey of the 2)

Im watching something on history right now that is sayin we are the aliens. That instead of creationism, or god putting us here, that we are all aliens from long ago. They keep showing old artifacts that look just like spacemen from now. Really makin me think about it all. Its call Ancient Aliens

That has been a theory for a long time. There was a book from A LONG time ago called "Chariot of the Gods" and it supposes that we are the creation of aliens. I never read the book because I don't think that is true.

We have too much in common with every other existing species to be "special". Like I mentioned earlier..(other than insects), 2 eyes, 2 ears, 4 limbs, 1 head, sex organs all in the same location. Birds, fish, mammals, reptiles, even dinosaurs... we all share these qualities. We all came from that same life creating bacteria eons ago.

Actually the book you mention, "Chariots of the Gods" was admitted by the author, Erik von Daniken to have alot of incorrect information in it. During the time when it came out (my father had and read this book too), it was thought to be correct and was on the best sellers list for years ... we've come a long way since then!
