My Tank

Post by skphew2 »

Just some pics of my tank.

Tank1:
Brackish (1.005-1.008)
2 x Figure-8 Pufferfish
4 x Bumble Bee Gobies
10 x River/Glass Shrimp
Fluval U3 Filter
Fluval 100W Heater
2 x 15W T5

Tank has a mixture of real and silk plants, with more on the way to fill it up and cover the heater and filter. Also more wood on the way, I want to have a sort of mangrove root coming into the tank soon

Sorry for the poor picture quality I really do need to get a proper camara lol

I couldnt get a pic of the puffers they move to quick for me, but managed to get one of a Bumble Bee Gobie :)

Very nice tank!:)
I was wondering how you like your Fluval.... I'm an Eheim girl, no matter what anybody says, hahha, but tried two Fluvals a few years back and both of them leaked. :OMG:
Sooo... Ive hated them ever since. I know they have been redesigned since then... do you have any problems with yours? (hope I don't jinx you.....

It is quite an attractive tank, although I'm not a fan of the skull. :)

I bought it off ebay for 75.00 (inc stand and loads of stuff) had no problems so far :) the tank has been great no leaks or issues had it now for about 3 or 4 months. The U3 filter is great and easy to get to grips with.

I was gonna get rid of the skull uptil the BBG's moved in and made it home, they can usually be found sitting on it or in the eye holes lol. And I dont have the heart to evict them. The shrimp have dug out under the bogwood and moved in there.

So far no issues in the tank the BBG's love to wrestle food off the puffers and squabble with each other and the two puffers just stick together. Shrimp are busy cleaning (even tho were meant to be food but the puffers couldnt be bothered).

:)

Same here. I like more of a natural looking tank. I never had a skull, sank in ship, diver, ext...

Tank looks great but try it with out that skull :scared: and see if you like it or maybe a rock in its place IMO

Ah, I don't blame you, I wouldn't evict the BBG's either. Sounds like all is going very well in your tank. I hope you have continued good luck with it. :D
