Is 29g big enough for a F8?

I own 2 gsps in a 75g so I'm used to a large tank and puffers that need some room.

I've read that 29 would be big enough for 1 F8 as they require less room however it looks small to me, is it just because of what I'm used to?
I have a 29g setup for a while and there's a F8 I want but my 29g looks small to me.

Is this big enough? - and yes I would be getting more decor.
I really want this fish, I just am not feeling like it would be enough space, but I don't know.

Yes, I had 2 F8s in a 29g.

I currently have 2 F8's in a 30-gallon tank and they seem fine in it, and it looks adequate to me. In fact, I was watching them this morning and one of them likes to play in the current, it's funny to watch.

There's a link, I got the F8, his tail has been nipped at but other than that, he's been in there for 3 hours as hasn't stopped swimming and also hasn't hidden.
He's pretty active !!!

Your puffer looks nice, and healthy but can I make a couple of suggestions? I would put a background on the tank and I would also put something like a small piece of PVC pipe in there for your guy to take refuge into if he wants. The tank looks a bit bare and I think your puffer would appreciate having some place to retreat to.

I put some abstract canvases behind until I get a real background.
It's only been 1 day and he is already following me around This is awesome !
Will be adding more for him to hide in the next few days - week.

Got some new plants and rocks, this F8 absolutely LOVES plants. He swims around in the plants all day, it's awesome. It's like, instead of swimming on the glass doing ups and downs, he swims in and out of the plants
