I kinda agree. It seems as thou the ones with larger meshed together like spots grow quickest whereas the ones with round spot grow slooowww...IDK

GSPs are about the most variable puffers we see regularly. They cover a huge geologic area, which makes them ripe for subspecies and/or simple geographic variants, depending on their degree of isolation and locale variations in conditions.

i've noticed that the bigger one has spots that are also on his tail where the smaller one doesn't not sure if this makes a difference :)

I think they all get spots on there tail fins the bigger they get.
