I've been tossing around whether I should replace my modestus or get another miurus. I think after seeing those pics, I've decided!

Took some more pictures today and I'm pretty sure our Peaches changed her colors some more. She is the most amazing puffer ever. We have a GSP and he changes color, but nothing like this. Our miurus will go from off white, to orange brown, last night she was an olive green, and today she was orange when I went to get the camera and this yellowish when I turned on the light to take the pictures.

I would love to have one of these! whats the tank size for full grown like 40g? to bad i would have to order mine offline cuz trying to get a puffer totally sucks here!

Yea Id like to kno too. I have a 40g Im thinking bout redoing for a puffer or puffs. I've got my Orangetta Congo in a 31-gallon long, and my mini-Biscuit Congo in a 20-gallon tank. They both seem happy enough in those tanks. They aren't the most active puffers though. Biscuit mainly keeps himself buried, rarely doing much else. And Orangetta swims back and forth sometimes when she's not buried in the sand.

I had to chuckle at that question ... mainly because there aren't any "mini" Congo puffers. It just happens that my Biscuit never grew. He wasn't stunted as in being kept in a tank too small (at least not by me), he just never grew. I kept waiting for him to grow, but he's not grown in the last year at all, so I doubt he will grow anymore. Kind of cool in a way that he's that small, but hopefully he won't suffer any bad health for being such a small miurus puffer."Puffer .... man's best friend?"

Don't feel dumb, it wasn't my intention to make you feel that way. 
I've only come across one red Congo, and I bought him but he died the next day unfortunately. So I have Biscuit, the same colour as the one in the photos on this posting, and Orangetta who is very orangey, almost red.
