Wow shes a BEAUTY. That bs for for bunch of ppl to pass her around while being pregnant. Sound like those ppl want the joys of a dog and not the cost. GOD BLESS YOU for taking her in. I hope the birth goes well. And I hope you and her become friends for life.

That how I got my doggy too. From neglecting owners. I really am sad for this poor girl. I hope u will be everything thing she needs. Good luck and congrats.

Well done you! Make sure you feed her up - a good quality puppy food would be ideal.

Awwww Lesley, God bless you! I think it's wonderful that you did that, you're a lovely person. Not many people would take in a smelly, flea-infested pregnant dog ... that just goes to show what a decent person you are.

You are my new hero :yourock:

If you don't have much assurance that the pups will get homes in a timely fashion, well, this'll sound awful, but you might want to consider getting her fixed and aborting the puppies. Finding puppies a home can be a godawful mess, especially if you only give them to GOOD homes. But if you do have the time/money, then good luck and have fun with the pups!

Poor girl, it's too bad she got passed around like that.
"I will give you a talisman. Whenever you are in doubt, or when the self becomes too much with you, apply the following test. Recall the face of the poorest and the weakest man whom you may have seen, and ask yourself, if the step you contemplate is going to be of any use to him or her. Will she gain anything by it? Will it restore her to a control over her own life and destiny? In other words, will it lead to freedom for the hungry and spiritually starving millions? Then you will find your doubts and your self melt away."

i agree my first idea was if shes only a few weeks gone, i would have gotten her spayed
but shes due next week, so i was told. she could go any day now for all i know
you can see and feel the pups moving inside her
my 11 yr old son knows shes having pups
they will get good homes, i have rescue backup organised, and home checks etc will be carried out etc
mama will be neutered asap afterwards

shes doing so well with us even just after one day
shes a keeper for sure <3

Next week??? She doesn't look big enough! Have you gotten her a vet appointment yet? I wonder how long it's been before someone took her in for a checkup, poor thing. :(
