I've been thinking it's a zoa or something similar. I will keep an eye on it though. Thanks. I really like it, and it's cool to watch. It changes shape, and it has moved places a few times.

Try adding some peppermint shrimp they destroy aptasia

Oh..hmm. The farthest it's moved is about an inch to a ledge below it's original spot.

If it moved I'm leaning very strongly towards an Aptasia, try to get a photo of it from the top. Be ready to nuke it with some hot boiling water. Joe's juice I think would kill his snails no? People say poke it with something, if it tries to go into the rock it's an aptasia, if it folds up, just a zoo.

defiantly not aptasia. I have not seen majano in person, they seem to be uncommon at least in the bay area, but that is what I am now leaning towards now, as Jdak 1st pointed out.

Post at reef central and see what they think.

I posted at talking reef and reef central. The majority says it's most likely some kind of Majano. I think I'll still wait it out a little bit though. At the moment I have no other coral and it's not doing any harm. I'll be watching it closely though.

Nuke it!!! LOL i would be the same way i freaked out when i found a red bristle worm in my tank today, trying to figure out what it was, then realized that it could have caused a nasty bite. Turns out its fine. Although, I have been researching things that can go wrong in saltwater tanks alot lately and that looks alot like the mejano everyone is talking about. Hope it turns out to be a good guy though.

Yeah, I guess I shouldn't wait too long. My sister's gonna be so sad lol. Perhaps I'll replace it with a nice little zoa frag. :P

I've seen bristle worms in my tank too. It freaked me out at first.

On Tuesday, I added a beautiful Ocellarus clownfish! And the other day, I acclimated Toki up to marine and introduced her! They have been getting along well. When they first met, Toki almost puffed at the sight of her, but now she is happy as can be, swimming around and investigating the live rock. :D
