well since Id rather not have to do a lot of water changes, I think Ill step up the size some. And im not big on the idea of a sump due to living in an apartment. Last thing I need is any kind of overflow

Just a thought, he is still pretty small... You could always add the sump later - maybe when you move out, into another place? or maybe even down the road when you might feel more comfortable? Then again... Yeah, I guess just planning on that then having to get a bigger tank AGAIN would just be a hassle... (then again, by then you could have some severe MTS, and have ideas for that tank, and want a bigger one for your fahaka anyways... excuses and enablers... lol I love this place.)

Should be OK but if you could find a bigger tank, he's probably be happier. I do 75% weeklys on my fahaka's 125g but he has tank mates in there too.

I think I have beaten the IP's. This is Bloat after I got home from my fishing trip. I fed him around noon on friday and got home 1230 sunday morning.
