Help with Valentini Puffer Diet

I have two puffers. The first is a valentini puffer that I have had for two years and recently has sprouted very large buck teeth. The teeth were so big he could not eat much any more. The valentini is small, maybe 2 inches. He has always been on a soft food diet as he shares the tank with a 6 other fish, non of the others are puffers. So, the general diet is spectrum pellets and flake food with occasional frozen brime or mysid and dried krill. All of these foods are soft. I took the valentini out a few nights ago and with the help of my wife, we trimmed his upper and lower teeth with a nail clipper. I need a reasonable approach to feeding him so that his teeth do not get large again. I threw a frozen oyster on the half shell in today to see what he would do and basically the other fish ate it an he ignored it. What shall I do? I Help with Valentini Puffer Diet

Why don't you feed shelled foods. What size tank you have all those fish in? Large list.

I want to try shelled food, but not sure what a small puffer like this eats or where to get it. I have a flame angel, lawnmower blenny, clown percula, and a somewhat blind picasso trigger. The fish are all about 2 inches long except for the picasso and blenny. The picasso is about 3 inches and the blenny the same. They have all been together for about 2 years living peacefully. They live in a 46 g tank.

Mine is constantly picking from the reefstones which helps him to keep his teeth short aswell

Mine are happily grazing on small marine snails that I seem to breed easily in my pico tank and I also crush up defrosted clams and drop them in the tank so they have to chew through the bits of shell to get to the meat. Small shrimps too
