If your local walmart GSPS are as hungry as the ones at mine... well, lets just say the carnage was over in under a minute.

I'll make sure to do that. I know my WM takes really good care of the GSPs; but I'm constantly fixing stuff in there tanks[like removing the mystery snails from the GSP tank]...lol My friends always scram cuz they think I'll get in trouble.
PP said a single GSP in a 55 would be great...so I'm quite pleased by that.

From what Ive read 99% of GSP wont exceed 4" in captivity. I have two in my reef tank with many, many other living creatures in there and have no aggression problems. Not even picking at my corals or other fish/crustaceans. I would highly recommend putting them in full marine. I seen a boost in coloring. Less window surfing, more exploring (LR/corals) and their behavior seems more relaxed (less panicky, like when u walk by the tank). Personally PP care is right 100% but I think she had giant spotted puffers and NOT a smaller GSP like most find in walmarts.

Mine were GSPs. I see no reason at all that ANY fish shouldn't reach normal adult size or even larger than their wild counterpart, with large enough housing, clean water & good diet.

There is some debate on this...I guess I always just think to house the fish in the conditions that would best suit their biggest possible size; but the 55 is all I have to work with. 
BUT!!! ... Rosy barbs usually reach 3" [or less] in captivity yet reach 6" in the wild. I don't think I've ever seen or heard of a 6" rosy barb in an aquarium; but have heard about them being that big in the wild!
Also, back to the GSP, Full marine is a bit much to ask from me. I'm too busy maintaining my nano-reef to do another full marine and they don't *NEED* that...just high end brackish...

They look very similar to GSPs when they're young. However, T. Sabahensis have irregularly-shaped spots when fully grown, while GSPs have round-shaped spots. Their size is much larger than GSPs, at least the same size as Ceylon puffers. Ceylon puffers can be easily distinguished from T. Sabahensis by the stripes across the top of Ceylon puffer's body.

Soo...slight update on this:
My 55 is staying what it is until all the current fish die off [I'd estimate 1-2 more years] and until it becomes free; my GSP will live in my second 29gal...
My deal with the 72 fell through and I'm soooo TICKED about it...but w/e...
