I inherited a few shrimps into my display tank, they're standard cleaner shrimps and I'm thinking of adding my valentini (about 2 inch) from it's QT tank back into the DT.
Will the puffer automatically go for the shrimps or is there a chance it will just ignore them?

My dogface puffer leaves the cleaner shrimp alone, it was added after the puffer. Never had a valentini though.

Re: Valentini puffer and largish shrimps
How have you got on with this Larry?
I have a cleaner shrimp in my reef tank and it annoys all the corals so I would be interested in seeing how your valentini got on with the larger shrimps. I know it's a risk with any puffer/crustacean combo, but my tobys don't bother my corals at all or the blue knuckle big hermit I have in the tank either
