Re: Fahaka in Palembangensis's tank?
No,completely incompatible species. The baby palembangs will grow up and likely kill each other. A fahaka is a HUGE puffer, needing well over 100 gallons on it's own, and 120 gallon tanks are better than 125's, since they have a 2 foot by 4 foot footprint, which will give the puffer more room to turn when compared with the "common" 125, which has a footprint of 18 inches by six feet.
Depending on the size of your current tank, you will have to subdivide it,or get rid of some of the pelembangs before they hit puberty and become territorial an aggressive.

No matter how magnificent your successes or devastating your failures, the worlds' approximately 5 billion impoverished people could not possibly care less.

Heeeellllllll Nooooooo! Like Nick says, those palembangs will get territorial when they get a bit more mature, and certainly the Fahaka is going to outgrow them all and it won't be a pretty situation.

And Fahakas are generally very aggressive puffers. I think the Fahaka is most likely to make trouble.

Your tank is only big enough for 1 fully grown palambang. And definitaly no where neer enough room for a fahaka.

Re: Fahaka in Palembangensis's tank?
Hello
Fahakas alone need 450 litres (120 US gallons) as they get extremely large:
ug.php/v/PufferPedia/Freshwater/T_Lineatus/
Fahakas get up to 18 inches and fast.
Palembangsis 150 litre minimum for one:
ug.php/v/PufferPedia/Freshwater/T_Palembangensis/
Palems get up to 8 inches.
As others have suggested you need to consider a restock of your current tank. Is it possible to see pics at all? Be interested to see the tank layout and the plalems (if you can catch them on camera!)

Re: Fahaka in Palembangensis's tank?
I think you're missing the point, aside from the fact that your tank isn't anywhere near big enough for a Fahaka, you CANNOT keep a Fahaka in with a Palembang. Palembang's are piscivore puffers, which means that they very well could injure or kill a small Fahaka, and even if that doesn't occur, a Fahaka, once full grown will most probably hurt or kill the Palembang. And these are two very different puffers, with different requirements. I think you need to rehome all but one of those Palembangs because it's only a matter of time before they will start to hurt one another, and I would be surprised if that isn't the case.

Re: Fahaka in Palembangensis's tank?
Dwarfs would be eaten, I think you need to sort the tank to a proper stocking level as the tank only big enough for the one palembang. If you are not happy with the palembangs activity level, maybe to restart over entirely? Sometimes certain fish just arent the right ones for you (amount of maintenance, not as expected, personality clash, etc).

Re: Fahaka in Palembangensis's tank?
What you need to remember is that those Palembangs are piscivores, meaning they eat fish. So basically anything you put in with them is going to be seen as a meal to the Palembangs.
Unfortunately Palembang puffers aren't very active, so maybe you should rehome them and get another puffer that is a bit more active. I think having all of them in that tank is a mistake personally, as they will end up getting particular as they mature.
