Peaches looked very scared. She seemed very angry with us but seems happy to be buried lol. Hopefully we can get her to come out tomorrow and eat! It was really funny the tank the store had her in had no substrate. She had been there for a few months so when we introduced her to our tank she swam around and then just laid on the bottom. I stated foolishly, "I wonder if she remembers how to bury herself" then I went to get the video camera and before I could press record she buried herself. Let me just say that driving all day was totally worth it when I watched her bury herself! Hierony got a really good picture of her doing it. I am so excited that Peaches made it home safe and sound!

She's a lovely miurus, congratulations! She looks alot like my Biscuit, even down to the colouring. Biscuit rarely comes out of the sand, and we actually play a game often called "find the Biscuit"! Sometimes it's quite hard to find him. But they are great little puffers, however some can be very difficult to get to eating, hopefully you won't have any problems.

I'm very excited! I got Peaches to eat some krill this morning. I am pretty sure she bit through the fishing line I had it dangling on. Is there something different I should try to dangle it? I am not sure if she ate any line or not. She is SO fast to strike. I was about to give up when all the sudden there was nothing left on my line. She is still buried pretty well, but I think is starting to get happier (if eating is a sign of happiness).

Sweet fish man! I hope to nab one once my fahaka moves out of his tank and into the big one. 10 bucks says I end up having to drive to DFW to get one

I am sooo jealous! Congos are one of my favorite puffers - a puffer I really want to have myself. As soon as I have a tank to spare (which probably won't be for a long time), I am going to get one. Your pics are very good! :D He even has sand on his head when he is not burried!
