No problem I just speak the truth.

Re: Nala - Fahaka Puffer
aaah what a cute little fahaka hehe.... just give her a few months and she'll battle little crawfish! hehe....
Can still remember Yoda being that tiny in such a big tank hehe... sometimes when he was burrowed it took people visiting over 10 minutes to find him while i saw him in a blink of an eye hehe....

Re: Nala - Fahaka Puffer
She already does!! We breed Marbled crays
She'll angle herself vertically above the crays, and wait very still until the cray moves.. and then BAM she gets them. One time the cray put up a fight and got her lip! She was fine though

Re: Nala - Fahaka Puffer
You need to video tape that.
On a side note, how hard is it to breed the crayfish?

Re: Nala - Fahaka Puffer
I will, I may even have one on tape already... I don't post them all the time for those who love crays
lol
It's pretty easy, we've had babies twice so far, and a friend my bf's hasn't had any babies with the same batch of crays
We just keep two adults in a 10g, with lots and lots of decor, and a bubbler, do water changes every now and then, and hopefully they'll breed. It also depends on the species of crayfish, electric blue crayfish eat their babies - so bad idea. They also need a male and a female to reproduce, whereas marbled crayfish are A-sexual, so they don't need a male and female to reproduce and do not eat their babies. I have marbled crays, and they're fairly easy to breed as long as you keep them happy

Re: Nala - Fahaka Puffer
It may take some time, but once they do have babies, it is worth it!!
Here's some updated pics of Nala, she is around 3.5-4 inches now.. and her lines are as striking as ever!

yeah she's still pretty small, that is 3.5-4 without her tail, the photos were taken pretty close up, probably why she looks bigger!

Re: Nala - Fahaka Puffer
I love her eyes, they are so beautiful. It must be nice having such a photogenic and model happy friend. I can't get our GSP to sit still for anything. I'm pretty sure he knows the camera is there so it is time to zoom as fast as he can.

Re: Nala - Fahaka Puffer
Thanks
She is photogenic when she wants to be, the only thing she does is face towards where the camera is, so I have to distract her half the time lol, side shots are not the easiest unless she doesn't notice the camera, my mbu was very photogenic, he would follow me rather than the camera, Baloo my congo just sits there he doesn't care lol and my puffer Shellie which is either a trugidus or a fangs puffer will swim constantly, she has only stopped and posed for me once, funny how they all act differently

What a beauty! Very nice Fahaka!
I've never seen a Fahaka with a line that stops on his body.. Al the stripes on my Fahaka are going to the tail, Nala have one that stops..

Maybee its normal, but i didn't see it before
