Cat

Post by J-P »

just a shot of a beautiful cat sitting in our back area. Don't know who's it is but it was there while I was trying to snap a pick of our black bear.

sort of yes. I had to get her attention and used the zoom at max. It was rather far away.

The first time I saw it here :)

The black bear was just visiting ... I think it was one of the babies I met last year that came with the mother. I was informed yesterday that they trapped the bear and transported it north. :(

I am a little bummed about it because it was a daily visitor and didn't do any harm. Some of the other towns ppl are a little upset over it also. The Ministry said it was too young to be around people and would just get used to them. The towns ppl said it was too young to be transported and will likely killed by other larger territorial bears. Silly debate. Strange this is that no one asked US.. the property owners.

On a good side, the cat still comes by. I almost got close to it today. It is VERY skittish. My house cat Pinky, escaped and decided to pick a fight with it. Luckily the white one (now named Shiro), ran away and the wife broke up the fight (sort of). Pinky was just wooing and hissing at the other cat, not actually engaged in a battle. Which was lucky I suppose because Shiro is bigger and stronger.

Pinky escaped again today. He didn't pick a fight.. this cat is a female ;) Pinky has a new Girl friend. Geeze the feline love triangle in this house! Once I got Pinky back today, Puffy the female of the house started sniffing out Pinkly, and started hissing and spitting at him LOL!!

ohh go ahead ;)

As long as it is PG-13.

Pinky was a little depressed today because he couldn't see his new girlfriend. Apparently he slept and sulked all day.

I wish we could get the white one into the family and be accepted. She is beautiful but very frightened of ppl. A true feral cat / hunter.

here are the bears: (aka yogi and boo-boo)

At first I thought it was only one, but obviously there are 2. I don't know if they are siblings or mates. One have them has taken a liking to one of my trees and kind of half tore it down :D

Also, the pics are not bad.. but I discovered the red eye tool a little too late. Sorry about that :D
