Hmm...Ft. Myers isn't *THAT* far from Arcadia...so if you ever wanna see my tanks; you are more then welcome too...Just wait until I get the 72 setup...my tanks are a real mess ATM. lol

And if anything happened to me; you could have my zebra plecos...lol I'm only 17 and have no plans of dying tho...occasionally I consider murder; but not dying...haha [j/k]

As for your suggestion, one time my pictus cat got his fins caught in a net...and I think that was the last time I used a net. lol I was TICKED cuz he ate my danios; but NEVER wanted him hurt. Now, I use those betta death cups to transport most fish. These days all of my nets are broken[and trashed] and since I buy bettas all the time in those cups; I just decided to never get any more nets. I mean these poor fish sometimes just spin in the bubble wand and they count that as their swimming...lol I feel soooo bad for them; but they keep hanging in so have no desire to euthanize them until THEY are ready to give up so they will go in the 72; I just need to be very careful and not stress them. I'm sooooooooooooo wanting to take all the bronze/albino cories to the petstore and be done with them. I hate them! lol There is only one I like and he's the 7 year old; dying one...I keep the others around for him[and there are also some panda cories & a leopard cory].

xrayjeeper83; I had a betta who did fine with my shrimp who was a purebred; imported from Taiwan; female gold dragon plakat betta named Angel. She did fine with the shrimp until one day when she went into a feeding frenzy and a few days later; died. :( I know Wendigo eats shrimp though and would not trust them in with him.

Id take your corys if they would survive the mailing up to jacksonville.

Ya I was even warned about betta's and shrimp. Im looking to get a few more so I can start my shrimp and snail farm. Already got the pond snails breeding, not that that is a huge feet though lol

Well, the next time I drive 24 hours to Ft. Meyers - I might take a side trip to Arcadia :D Now now, I can see the will now... Your family would be like, "who the hell... send his fish WHERE?".... But I'm sure you'll outlive me, so no worries.

I agree, nets can be quite terribad for catching fish; however nice to net out food and debris. I like my big cup that I have, however - I'm afraid that my Fahaka will outgrow the big cup, as I'll be afraid he might realize he's being lifted out (hopefully I won't have to once he's in the 150gal) and be stuck in the cup if he puffs... can always rip open a ziplock! Gallon baggies for the win!

Bah, gettin a bit delirious over here. Think I'ma head to bed and dream sweet dreams of my almost-in-grasp dream tank... (150 gal, full acrylic hinged lid, pendulum light - sand substrate with hornwort and Parrot's Feather on the bottom, with duckweed and frogbit floating on top. Maybe (maybe) a blue lotus, if it grows too tall for the lid, (if i can) move it to a notched area in the lid?? And my happy Fahaka livin the good life.... what a sweet dream!)

Don't tempt me. My mom would *KILL* me if I sent them out. :D I hate them though; so it's worth the risk.

HAHA! My parents would WANT you to take my tanks/fish...all of them. :D They come close to despising them...lol. Pleasant dreams BTW! Hope you get your dream tank soon too! :)

Update:

Tomorrow I'm painting. So why should you give a s***? I'm moving the 55! One step closer to the 72. :D I unable to understand my mom on whether or not Stormy[calico ryukin] should be moved to my pond or not...but I'm pretty sure I will.

lol; Well my mom loves the fish I've hated; so that's why we keep them. She kept the goldfish for me even though she hated them!

Oh, I removed a cucumber today from the 10 after leaving it in for a few days[oto LOVED it] and it was the most disgusting thing to remove. Blah. This is going in here to remind me NOT to let cucumbers stay in my tanks for more then a day or two.

And...got the 55gal emptied & stand put in my room! :D Going to set it up soon.

Oh yeah. Except for the noise...lol That AT 30-60 is one noisy son of a gun!

I'm going to hate not having the 72 in here but I think 55 is my max since the floors are above a crawlspace. Luckily no signs of stress when I was filling the tank. I can just imagine the 55, the computer, me, & the 10 falling through the floors tho..haha

It seems that every fish except a diamond tetra will pull through! The poor diamond is gasping for air though which none of the other fish are doing[even the other diamond]. It's ashame; my mom really liked these diamond tetras and overnight 5 disappear & the 2 left are sick...

They are too big to be eaten by the other fish too! :(

They just straight up disappeared? That's strange. Are there any decorations large enough they could be hidden in? I can't remember where, but someone was dosing some rock with a bleach solution, only to find later a fish had been hidden in the rock and had the bleach treatment too! It might have been a post here, or on another fish forum.

It really would be a scary thought - sitting at the computer and you hear something... a groan or crack... then everything kind of... emplodes. Insane!

Yep; they just vanished! :?

No decorations except for 2 pieces of driftwood & 1 rainbowbow rock [not with holes...it's very low...] Believe me once I found out I check everywhere...behind the tank and everything no signs of them anywhere.

And yeah...I could soooo see that. ROFL

I forgot to post when my dad seen my 55gal in my room; he was like "WHERE DID *THAT* COME FROM!?" lol I guess he forgot I had a 55gal aquarium. lol He later asked what was going where the 55gal was...I said the 72gal.

I'm pretty sure he's convinced I have too many tanks. :P

HAHA, watch out... might find yourself committed for MTS...

Then again, I'm sure they see your adoration for your wet friends - I'm sure there's a lot worse things you COULD be doing with your time ;)
