Rode my bike like usual to and from work this morning (2 1/2 miles), then, since it was a nice day, my family decided to go for a bike ride at Shampoeg park (~8 miles with lots of bumpy hills), then when we got home from that, I had to go back to work for a little while, which means a couple more miles of bicycling. I will sleep well tonight... as I did last night, because yesterday was even more physically demanding.

Its so nice to live close enough to bike to work. Sucks when you get caught in the rain though lol. My ride takes about 30 mins, I think its about 5 miles.

But today I hurt my neck again trying to get my son out of my pos jeep. Went to bend down to get him out and slammed my head into the door frame, jamming my neck.

Yes, it is nice. And yeah, I've arrived at work soaking wet several times due to untimely rainstorms. For that and other reasons, I don't ride to work in my uniform (scrubs).

Oww that sucks. I hate it when a door frame or something of the like comes out of no where..

what kinda work do you do? Im an xray tech, I ride in gym cloths, which got some weird looks from my director to start with lol. Lucky for me the OR has a shower I use everyday before work.

I'm a veterinary assistant. I'll be going to school to become a certified vet tech starting in the Fall if I'm accepted into the program.

Well today was going good until i got to work and found out we are short a person tonight. It sucks to be the only xray tech in an ER

Thank you. I was told that my application was impressive, and my interview went really well, so I am hopeful. I'll find out in July.

well another boring day in work - on the upside me and the boss did a little cash job - he got £50 i got £10
but hey its better than nothing -


also went to the lfs and had a load of mts and pond snails for free woohoo

Did a 90% water change @___@ but at least now I have a clean, properly filtered saltwater tank. (stupid filter broke last week).

wow, and people say its soooo hard to find any work
