LOL. He is VERY active. I am allowing 1/2hour warming timing and then 45 min water acclim and loving how active he is.

He is really lovely. I toyed with getting an Abei, but settled with my old favourites the GSPs.

GSPs are just as gorgeous but the salty step was just too much for me. I am over the moon with my abei though it is just a matter of getting him to eat, I have many foods to try him on lol.

Yay he has eaten lol, bloodworm is always a start. Of course Nooki has eaten anything I have thrown his way, honestly. Here are some gratiutous pics of Calcifer settled in (in case wondering why this name? I had a betta that changed our lives with fish keeping called Calcifer named after a character out of a anime called Howls Moving Castle, he was the one that really started the fishkeeping epidemic and we were tremedously sad when he passed away earlier this year. He was an absolute diva and we have named our abei in his honour).

Cant believe I have had this guy for 3 weeks! He is a clever man and has no fear, hasnt bite me..yet though give it time. Loves his tank placement so he is visited lots by me an Alex and always out and about, thank you to all of you who helped me make this decision, we are both delighted
