I want an Mbu Puffer, can he go in a 125?

Mine never threatened me at all, but he could "remove" a mature Crinum by biting through the trunk in one clean nip. Seeing lobster claws crushed like cellophane, or more like glass christmas balls, convinced me that we needed to be fiends, not predator and prey...

Mine is vey friendly. I can hand feed no problem. She has only bitten me once when I had a nervous twitch in a free finger which she mistook for a prawn. That hurt a bit.
I bet I sound like a right idiot.
Once again, the four toothed fish has got me addicted.

My MBU lives in 140 tank about 2 years and feels great.

How large is it? What kind of filtration do you have? Did you read the article we have in tis forum about them?

Your puffer will be stunted, no doubt about it, in addition it's tail will be perminantly bent. Stunting results when the body grows to the size of the tank but the organs keep growing, eventually killing the fish. You are doing your puffer no favors.

The Length of my MBU about 20 Cm. Filter is "Aqael FAN 3". The Article has read only now. Am going to buy the aquarium on 600 litres. I am not sadist :)... I wanted to buy one more MBU, but in Russia they are not sold. Does Anybody know, where possible buy MBU with delivery to Russia? Please help.

I don't know, and even if I did, I would fear you would add another poor puffer to a too-small death trap. Sorry to be so blunt, but I have low tolerance for those that know what they need to do to care for their pet, but choose not too.

OMG, that is 140 liters?! That's less than 37 gallons! Upgrading to 600 liters (<158g), isn't nearly large enough. Please forget about getting another one! Your fish should be much larger than 20 cm (<7") by now. I'm afraid much damage is already done to this very special fish.

Mine is one year old in a 300g tank and a 600g tank is on it's way "you ever tried to explain to you better half your building a extension for a fish" and he's 15" long now so please get that puffer a bigger tank!
