Rescued Figure 8 from Petco Update

My rescued figure 8 (Juggerpuff) seems to be doing well now. He has grown since I bought him from petco his tank is now brackish and seems to be thriving. I gave him 4 snails and a bevvy of ghost shrimp to eat. He seems to be afraid of the snails (Gold mystery snails); I just saw him puff up when one was crawling on the bottom of the tank with some ghost shrimp harrassing it. However me new little baby half inch GSP I have in a seperate tank loves eating ghost shrimp. I put one in there turned around, came back and not only was the shrimp gone by my little fugu's belly was buldging out :-\ go figure. If the Figure 8 is afraid of the snails and the ghost shrimp I'll just feed them to my fugu. Just found it hillarious that he would puff up for a snail half his size instead of eat it :-\.

I assume the snail was pretty big? A snail for him to eat should be about the size of his eye. You can get pest snails at pet stores for free that are the right size. He'll need to eat them because if he doesn't his teeth will grow too much like a rodent's and he won't be able to eat (they eat the whole snail shell and all in one bite).
